Sitter in Manotick, Ontario

I am currently a substitute teacher for the OCSB in Ottawa. I am looking for summer employment for July and August as a live-out full-time nanny. I love working with and being around children. I have extensive experience with children. I started babysitting in grade 6-I babysat for neighbourhood families on evenings and weekends. In high-school I continued babysitting, while also teaching dance and also dancing on a competitive dance team myself. I was very involved with school and leadership programs, attending leadership camps and joining student counsel. I then attended university in Montreal and received my Bachelor of Education. During this time I completed 4 placements at elementary schools (one being at a school for children with disabilities-language and learning disorders). During my university time, I also co-directed a student run dance ensemble. I also have camps experience, working at summer wading pools being a lifeguard and park programmer. I also worked at a creative arts camp as a counsellor in dance, drama and creative writing. I have experience in teaching Montessori as well. I have been a tutor for many children (math and language tutor). I worked at Oxford Learning Center last summer, and now also teach dance during evenings. As you can see, all my work experience involves being around children-as this is what I love to do. Please contact me if you are interested.
