Families with infants & toddlers. Located in Hanover county, close to Pearson's Corner ES, we are opening our home to you. A little about us, I am a former 911 communications officer, and my boyfriend of 3 years is a police officer. We have three kids between the two of us, along with two dogs, a gecko and a bunny. We are a smoke, drug and drama free family. We enjoy camping in the mountains and lake as much as possible, and weekend adventures geocaching. Being a first responder family (and a former single mother), I know how difficult it is to find adequate childcare. Available any day of the week, any shift. This includes nights, weekends and holidays. Taking applications, and will start childcare around early/mid April. Cost will be based on what time of day your child is here and how many days a week. We also offer after school care for those in our school zone. We will learn ABC's, colors, basic sign language, counting, animals & their sounds, arts and crafts, etc. Your child will be read to daily by me or one of my elementary school children. We will help potty train, and learn how to share. I can even provide you with a daily report. We will spend a lot of time outside, and on our big front porch, weather permitting. Depending on your schedule and shift: 1st shift (day) will receive and morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack 2nd shift (evening) will receive dinner, evening snack 3rd shift (overnight) will be quietly put to bed, and will receive breakfast, if still with me by 7am Any after school care children will receive homework help, a snack, and outdoor/indoor play time. We ask that parents provide formula and any special foods or snacks (based on allergies), diapers, change of clothes, PJ's and a car seat with base daily. There will be times where I will need to take my son to baseball at Atlee Little League (about 2mi away) for a game or practice, and you will be notified ahead of time. I will also provide you with our vacation schedule ahead of time, as we have to plan a years' worth in January. Please feel free to email or text me with any questions you have.
