A native of San Francisco, I have a wealth of experience working with children (as young as two and as old as 13). As a summer assistant at Pacific Primary Preschool, I worked in classrooms of 15 kids and aided the full-time teachers with daily routines, crafts, conflict resolution, and all of the programs that make the school great. I've also been the primary nanny to a 7/8-year-old girl who I took to school and, for one week, acted as a live-in primary guardian. Throughout high school, I babysat on a more casual basis for numerous other families as well. This past summer I worked at Drowsy Water Dude Ranch in Colorado as a counselor to kids aged 6-13. Responsible for upwards of 20 kids at a time, I led hikes and organized skits and crafts activities at one of the "Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the World." I find when kids are challenging themselves and having fun, I am too. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include: building forts, unconventional art projects (no markers necessary!), telling stories and sometimes acting them out, and anything that really allows the kids to express their creativity and curiosity. I absolutely love kids and am looking forward to continuing to make childcare an important part of my present and future.
