I've always been a natural caregiver- I feel most fulfilled when I'm taking care of children, animals and plants. Currently: I teach a Sunday School class (to children aged 1-12) and am a Child Development major in school. I've babysat for well over ten years and have been employed as a full-time nanny in the past as well as a caregiver/tutor at an after-school program. I would describe myself as reliable, patient, and upbeat! I like to get to know the parents just as well as the children so I can align my caretaking style in a way that is consistent with the family's values. I believe children learn best through play and love to organize creative/age-appropriate experiences that encourage developmental growth. I'm also passionate about getting kids outdoors and active. I'm happy to do light cooking/housekeeping/pet care/homework help when needed.
