Hello, families in Humble, Texas! My name is Vanessa; I'm a 44-year-old female and I've spent 20 years in postpartum care - as a preschool teacher, nanny and postpartum doula, with a focus as an acupuncturist in women's health. I've cared for over 40 families, and 91 babies over that time. I have specialized in newborn care and trained postpartum doulas for the Pump Station and Nurtury in Santa Monica. I excel in lactation, workflow strategy, schedule setting, and sleep training. I am happy to do baby related duties such as baby laundry, bottle feeding/cleaning, breastfeeding and postpartum support, nursery design, cooking, errand running, nighttime care and product recommendations. As a postnatal specialist I am trained in tummy time, baby wearing, sleep/bathing activities. Pets are fine but I won’t feed your pet snake. :) I am Adult and infant CPR certified, TrustLine certified, COVID/TDAP/and flu shot vaccinated. I was also a single parent foster parent to a set of 7-week-old twins who were coming off of drugs, for 3 months in 2020-202.... I am also a licensed acupuncturist and bring acupuncture skills to the table as well, including infant massage, and acupuncture treatments for parents as well. :) I'd describe my personality as efficient, supportive, and kind.
