I have babysat 3 kids at the age of 15 and two of them at ADHD. Through the 3 years I sat with them i helped them learn to swim, helped the youngest potty training, helped them learn good study habits. Since then I have babysat kids of my ages, some over night. The youngest was 2 months old and stayed over night quite a bit. The oldest ones I really just helped them stay on schedule and develop better study skills. I am pretty open in my schedule just a few things we can discuss, nothing major. I have been accustomed to creating planners with activities and age appropriate learning skills to focus on. I have a lot of friends that home school. My son has autism so I am very kind understanding and compassionate. However, when time outs are needed (or the punishment of parents choosing) they will be implicated until designated time is over.
