Hello! My name is Destini. Recently I graduated with bachelors in Early Childhood Education with minors in Sociology and Psychology at Campbellsville University. Being the oldest of 12 grandchildren, I have had numerous opportunities in which I have helped assist with children of all ages. Including feeding, changing, assisting with homework, school drop off and pickups, and assisting with children with minor special needs. I previously have worked for four different families, caring for children ranging from the ages of 2 months to eight years old. I have received my CCCC (Commonwealth Child Care Credential), which is a State certification stating that I are certified to work in a day care or school setting. As a caregiver, I realize that as a parent you want to know how your child is throughout the day. To ensure this, throughout the day I keep in contact with the parents to touch-base on how the day is going. I also enjoy doing fun activities with the children throughout the day, such as reading, coloring or small arts and crafts activities to make it easier for the children while the parents are away.
