Hi parents! My name is Rachel! I am 24 years old! I'm looking for nanny work starting this summer, but am able to start sooner if requested! I am looking primarily in the Kootenays area but am willing to branch out from there. I love children and have had experience working with kids since I was around 14! I babysat for years growing up and in the past few years have volunteered at a youth drop in center. As well, I worked with kids in out of country mission trips. I also have been a nanny for a bit under a year and a half now and have experience being a full time child care worker, as well as keeping the house clean and making meals. (I can get references if requested) I love anything creative and outdoors and am not afraid to have fun with the kids I look after! I have no problem getting down on the floor or in the mud to play with them! I am responsible and trustworthy, and the kids well-being and happiness is important to me! I desire to invest into getting to actually know the kids I look after and love to build relationships with the families I work with (parents and kids both) I am looking for full time work as a nanny with weekends off (I am willing to work the occasional Saturday but I take Sundays off.) My request would be time off for Christmas so I can be with my family every year, as well as I sometimes take a bit of time off in the summer for overseas ministry (like a couple weeks or so), or visiting family. I have a car as well as a license and am more than willing to travel! I have some experience in cooking and baking and would be willing to prepare food if requested! (And am not afraid to learn new recipes!) I also would be willing to do any housekeeping that is required! I have first aide and am able to get a criminal record check when requested.
