Hello! My name is Octavia Ireta Gordon, I am a third year undergraduate student in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria. I am an outgoing, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who loves working with kids. I hold over 8 years of childcare experience in private homes and public school settings, as well as with the YMCA Daycamps. I have also worked with children with learning and/or behavioural challenges. With a background in storytelling/children's literacy and musical theatre, I strive to foster children's creativity and literacy development, and have fun doing it! I am also passionate about the outdoors, and enjoy getting outside as much as possible whether it's going to the beach, playing at the park, or building a fort in the backyard. I fluent in English, French, and Spanish and hold my Red Cross Babysitting certification, as well my Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
