My name is Bridgette Cooper, a single mother of a beautiful girl with dreams and aspirations similar to that of yours which you have already made come true. A little about myself, my passion for children was a passion that I had to reveal on my own as I went through life. At one point in my life I was unsure on exactly what it was I wanted to do. I tried Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice and even an OB-GYN career path. But one thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to own my own business and give back to those who struggle finding employment, through extensive trainings through my business. I did not realize my true passion until I gave birth to my beautiful little girl. As I searched for daycares, I spent many nights unable to sleep and many days crying because reliable, trustworthy daycare centers were either out of my reach or out of my financial means. This is when I realized the struggle of parents and the difference that I could make to the parents and also for the children that are subjected to such bad environments, establishments with no curriculum, and administrative personnel who interest were not the children. Although my passion has been visible to me only for a few years, my career path in Business Administration has been very beneficial to me. It has thought me effective forms communication (both written and verbal). I have also been accepted into the Director’s Credential program offered through Mississippi State Extension Program online where I earned my credentials. I have also been enrolled to take the Director’s Orientation, Playground Safety as well as Childcare Regulations class where again, I earned more training in childcare. After completion of these training as well as obtaining my director’s license I have dreams of opening and operating my own daycare facility. After starting up my business and building a steady foundation with the help of God, I do plan to obtain my nationals. Thanks for taking the time out to read my story!
