I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Educational Studies, Elementary Education K-8 and a single mom of a five-year-old. I am offering babysitting services in my home. Rates are as follows. $10.00/hr for a child that is potty trained and has no special needs. $12.50/hr for a child who is in diapers or has special needs Additional children add half to the rate for one, for example. 2 children not in diapers = $15/hr 2 children in diapers or with special needs = 18.75/hr If you have one with special needs or in diapers and the other is not, the rate for the child in diapers or with special needs comes first. In other words: 1 child in diapers = $12.50/hr 1 child not in diapers = add $5 for a total of $17.50/hr I have been babysitting since I was about 14 years old, so for the past 18 years. I also had a summer job working with 4-5 year olds, as well as several substitute and volunteer positions working with infants up to children of about 9 years old, as well as some special needs children up to the age of 21.
