Thank you for considering bamboo babies for the child care of your precious little one. About Me: My name is Alexis Morrow; I am the oldest of 13 children and the mother of 2 children. Currently I am running a small non-licensed daycare in my home with my own 2 children Kaitlyn (3 years) and Jaxson (2 years). In 2010 I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Cross Cultural Studies. Some of my past experiences include working in the medical field from 2007-201..., working with adults that had mental disabilities as a living skills assistant which included but was not limited to daily care, medications, goal charting and case worker partnership. Goals for Bamboo Babies: My desire for this child care setting is one that is not a streamlined approach. Education from a young age integrating tools such as sensory development, number/letter recognition, and Art will all be strongly encouraged. Unless there is inclement weather there will be some time outside to get fresh air and play, I also find it very important that TV watching is kept to a minimum. While some of the following items may not be your preference we are Baby wearing, Cloth Diapering, and breast milk friendly. I encourage everyone to please ask questions if there is something that you feel the child needs during their time in my home. What to Expect Every day your child will come home with a report of how the day went, normally just a couple of sentences unless there was a specific issue. Also on that page you will find a record of what was eaten for each meal/snack and when the child had a stool (if the child is still in diapers). I will also write any special reminders or notes on this page as well. Meals and snacks are included for children 12Months . Please note that my home has an open door policy and parents are welcome to come at any time. I do ask that if you plan to pick up your child earlier than planned that you notify me so that your child can be ready to go and it will not disturb other children who are potentially resting. Vacation Policy for full-time clients Provider- 2 weeks per year is allowed for the provider to take off unpaid there will be a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice given. Client- The client may take 1 week non-paying vacation per year.1 week notice is required. Childcare payment resumes to normal after the 5 days have been used. *Should the child be absent without the 1 week notice the normal rate will apply* *Currently there is a Vacation planned for Nov 16-23rd 2015 Hours of availability Monday –Friday 7-5 Saturday -Drop in care available with notice Need to Know *Bamboo babies has an open door policy. Parents are allowed and encouraged to come at any time while their child in under my care. *Our house has a fenced in backyard with a locked gate. There is a large swing set and various outdoor bikes, trikes and outdoor toys. *All babies while napping are kept in plain view. *All babies are put to sleep on their backs unless requested otherwise by the parent. ____________________________________________________________ -The next step in the process is to set up a meeting from there additional paperwork will be completed. -----------------------------------Daycare Pricing 2015 -------------------------- Full Time 30 hours per week Infants/Toddler/Pre-K 0-5 yr’s old $150 Drop in Rate: $35 per day (4-8 hours) $25 per half day (less than 4 hours)
