I am Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR and First Aide Certified. From January 2014 to April 5, 2016, I was employed as an overnight caregiver for an Alzheimer's patient. As she reverted back to child like behavior, I assisted her with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming. Presently, I am seeking employment, because they have moved out of state. I worked in the Cumberland County Elementary Schools from 1997 to 2013 as a Teacher Assistant/Remediation Tutor for grades Pre-K through fifth. I mainIy worked with students up to second grade. I am trained, skilled and qualified to help develop and prepare children for school and help with homework. I help children learn by building on their strengths and using resources that interest them. I also have previous experience working as a Respite Caregiver for families with autistic children. As a young adult, I was a pianist/director for children's choirs at churches I attended. I am an active participant in the Convalescent/Nursing Home Ministry at my church. I have the passion, compassion, patience, experience and heart to care for children. I have my own dependable transportation, am willing to drive, am a non-smoker, non-drinker and am comfortable with pets. I enjoy reading, music, theatre, exercising and baking.
