Experienced Nanny who takes initiative in creating child friendly activities. Offers the opportunity for one-on-one education while providing at-home care. Proficient in creating age-appropriate curriculum and child development activities. Maintains an organized schedule with little parental guidance. My experience includes working independently as a sitter for one family throughout my high school career as a babysitter, where I would pick the children up from school, help them with homework, and then cook and care for the kids. As well during high school, I volunteered at S.N.A.P (Special Needs Athletic Programs), where I got first hand experience working with children with autism in a fun and active setting (for the most part I helped teach Yoga to help relax the kids). For the last two semesters in college, I have been working as a Nanny/Tutor, in which I educated 2 students in the basics of English grammar and conversational speaking, as well I safely transported the children to and from school, medical appointments, and extra-curricular activities.
