Hi, I’m Sarah Hill looking for a Summer nanny job. I’m 20 years old and live in Fox Mill on Herman Melville Lane. I am planning on returning to UIUC in the Fall. I love being in the presence of children. They have so much imagination and energy. I enjoy taking kids to parks to play, swing and enjoy the outdoors. I will also be active around them and play all their silly, fun games. I also love stimulating their minds by incorporating learning into their play. I have been babysitting for 7 years now and I have worked with children ranging between the ages of 7 months to 14 years old. Babysitting was my source of income throughout middle school and high school, and has always been something that I have enjoyed. My duties as a babysitter include everything from bringing the children to doctor appointments, sport practices/games as well as getting them up and ready in the morning, going to the park or library, helping them clean up their rooms, and pretty much everything under the sun! Summer is my favorite time of the year. I love to spend it with children. I currently work at Baker’s Station After School Program at Fox Ridge Elementary School. That is an after school program for all elementary school ages. It’s a great program for working parents. We tutor them, help them with homework, give them a healthy snack, play games and have lots of fun with the kids. I’ve learned a lot about the developmental level of kids through different grades. I’m a human development and learning major, so I’ve taken many developmental courses. It’s nice to actually interact with the kids at different grades, and not just read about the stages in a textbook.
