I am experienced with caring for children who have type 1 diabetes (my younger sister has it), special needs (Asperger's and Down Syndrome), newborns, toddlers, teens, and any age in between! I love to cook, bake, do arts and crafts, and play music. I would love to teach your children anything about the previously mentioned. I am the queen of multitasking. For six years, I took care of a diabetic small child, while also looking after a newborn. Children's minds are full of imagination. I love to key in on that. I have a 4-year-old Labrador retriever who is training to be a service dog. He is gentle and great with children. It would be helpful if he could come along with me. But if there is a problem with him, I can leave him with someone while I attend to your child(ren). I am currently taking a semester break from university, but I plan to attend UNCA in the fall to further my studies of pharmacology. I look forward to meeting with you and your family. Thank you!
