I currently work as a Case Manager to youth 16-24 continuing their education with some clients having learning disabilities, mental illness, and problems with social skills. I have interned in a psychiatric hospital with older adult clients who have mental health issues ranging from Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, physical disabilities, etc. I have attended training's in regards to confidentiality, ethics in social services, cultural competency, and mental health in higher education. I majored in Psychology and have studied psychotherapy, psycho-social, and childhood psychology. I plan on continuing my education in Marriage and Family Therapy.
