I have a degree in Early Childhood Education ages 0-8 as of fall 2015 and have volunteered over 120 hours at several elementary schools and preschools. I absolutely love working with children and have so ever since my nephew was born without the ability to hear. He has inspired me to work with children, as well as have the patience and understanding it takes to do just that. I have watched family members children over the years while also volunteering and now I am looking to have a full-time position caring for other children. I can make lesson plans if preferred and can teach a new lesson every week to children who are not quite ready for kindergarten. I can also help elementary students with after school homework, as well as school projects if need be. I can cook, clean, and occasionally pick up children if need be. As of right now, my husband and I are down to one car and since he works in Alabama, he needs the car more than I do. So with this, I am able to stay in your home for the duration of time needed or your children are welcome to stay at mine. I do have 2 dogs who are extremely friendly. One is a boy named Thunder who is a shiba-inu/chow mix and is 15 years old. My second dog is the new addition to my family and she is a 1 year old chiweenie named Coco Chanel.
