As a certified elementary educator and early childhood educatoar with several years experience of nanny/child care providing, I have found my true passion is working with children. I have been a nanny for a 1-year-old male, a nanny for twins girls who recently turned 3, a child care provider for a 4-year-old male as well as miscellaneous babysitting for children ranging from ages 1-9. I have become highly skilled in utilizing techniques that are required in order to maintain child discipline and routines. In my previous places of work as a nanny and child care provider, I was responsible for not just looking after children, but creating a positive environment where basic needs are attended to including providing a nutritional diet, instructing proper health and personal rituals (eating, resting and bathroom habits) and providing academic support. In addition, I organized and planned daily activities, drove the children to and from school, camp, and sports. In addition, I am an extremely active individual and have spent much of my time with children I care for playing and being active, both in and outdoors. I like to incorporate learning in terms of activities, puzzles, board games as well as reading and arts and crafts.
