Hello! My name is Olivia, I'm very happy you are considering me to be your family's new babysitter. A little about me... I've been working with children in one way or another for 12 years. I've been a babysitter to many families, a swimming instructor, a camp counsellor and most recently a children's yoga teacher. For most the last year, I've lived and worked at a yoga retreat centre as a yoga teacher and a vegetarian chef. During the school year, I would drive to the nearby elementary school and teach yoga classes to the little ones as well. That was truly one of my favourite things to do in the world! It's very important to me to always balance calmness & seriousness with play & excitement. I would describe myself as a compassionate, calm and caring person. I take a lot of pride in my communication skills and am always learning how better to communicate with others, but especially with children. I have all of my standard first aid qualifications and my lifeguard certifications. I am looking for part-time work in the Toronto area beginning immediately until the beginning of January when I begin begin a sustainability course. Please note that I do not drive.
