Sitter in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I have been working with children for over 10 years, working within schools, community centers, and religious centers. I have worked with an after school enrichment program, the Family Focus Center, as the Office Manager, with APS as an Educational Assistant, with Escuela Del Sol Montessori as an Art Camp Director, and most recently worked as a preschool teacher caring for children, ages 2 through 5. I am trained in working with children with behavioral problems, and in the Nurtured Heart Method. Furthermore, I have my B. S. from UNM in Family Studies, with a minor in Psychology. I am enthusiastic about art, music, and the outdoors. I love to let children explore learning through interactive play and positive reward. Throughout my life I have loved being the reason for a child's smile, or for a growing passion about a topic or activity that I helped introduce to them. My passion for working with families and children is one that is continuously growing.
