Sitter in Allison Park, Pennsylvania

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am looking to create great relationships with new families. I recently moved back home since graduating college and am excited to meet families in the area! I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages. I started babysitting at a young age, when my parents would go out for a date night. I am the second eldest of five, with the youngest now five years old. This has given me the chance to grow up taking care of young babies and toddlers. My grandparents also have a daycare in their home that I spent a lot of time at. I changed diapers, gave young infants their bottles, and rocked babies to sleep many days. I also took care of school age children, playing games with them, reading with them, or helping out with homework. Beyond just family experience, I was a regular babysitter for several families in my neighborhood and in our church. When watching children, I am not the kind of babysitter to let the children watch TV and sit around the whole day, I enjoy playing games with the kids, and getting outside. I am not that crafty, but I try to get the children to be creative with some things, even with baking possibly. I have experience working with military families around the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area when I was in college. I have also worked with special needs children including cystic fibrosis, Downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc. I would be available for "date night" sitting or weekend needs.
