My name is Anna, I am 20 years old and have worked with children of all ages and many different families for over 8 years. I started out as a very popular babysitter in my neighborhood because I was highly recognized as an exceptional babysitter by the children and parents I worked for. I also got a job in high school working in my local health club's nursery where I was responsible for looking after up to 12 children at a time. The children ranged in age from six months to twelve years old and my duties included cleaning the facility, entertaining and feeding the children, and communicating with the parents. Now I attendCornell College as a junior studying to be an elementary education and sociology major and civic engagement minor. This has allowed me to take many classes on child development which has significantly benefitted me when interacting with children of all ages and abilities. Last summer I was a YMCA camp counselor where I was assigned to oversee 10 girls in a cabin overnight for two weeks at a time, and during the day I taught different exciting and activities to up to 25 kids at a time. Each of these experiences have made me into a more diverse and experienced child caretaker and made me more passionate about working with children in the future. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have never been in trouble with the law, or smoked. I am very energetic, friendly, hardworking, caring, and honest.
