Hi! My name is Kyra O'Brien, I am 17 years old, and I am looking for a babysitting job. I am new to Las Vegas from Washington state. I have 2 younger sisters and 5 younger brothers (ages 3-13) whose lives I have played a big part in. I also have experience babysitting kids outside of my family ranging from ages 2-11. I posted a babysitting ad in Washington & got multiple offers & families who asked me to come back multiple times. Adding to my experience, I was in the Child Psychology and Child Psychology II class at my school, where I earned my STARS Certification. In these classes I got the opportunity to play with preschoolers and plan lessons for them ranging from outdoor activities to science projects. I also got to be a tutor for 3rd graders for about 4 months. I was also in the Medical Science class at my school where I learned CPR on all ages. I was a volunteer at the Humane Society of Southwest Washington and a former volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society so I am more than willing to care for animals. I can cook and have my Food Handler's card and I can clean as well. I am very punctual and organized as well as outgoing. I love kids and am very fun with them. I was also an honor student with a 3.8 GPA and tutor, so i would love to help your child with their homework. I can also sign and understand sign language as I am in my 3rd year of American Sign Language. I have a very open schedule as i am not currently enrolled in school.
