Hi, my name is Jen. I have been blessed to be a nanny for the same wonderful loving ,athletic sports family in Eastmoreland of three incredible, unique, talented kids for 16 years . I have worked part time and on call as the children are now 12,14, 17 . I'm very close with their mom , We are family. I have enjoyed watching these kids grow from birth, to toddler, to school age, to teens . My son is 16, and best friends with the oldest . I love being a nanny . I enjoy reading, field trips to the park, library, and the pool . I'm the second oldest of five kids , I've grown up in Sellwood . I started babysitting at 15. I love interacting with toddlers, have a curriculum I use, and never watch T.V. with them , unless it is a program helping the u r brain grow . Sesame Street , Barney . I've been a nanny , personal assistant , housesitter for 15 years . I cook, clean, do laundry, drive, grocery shop, and dogsit as well and help with studying for spelling , vocabulary test . I'm also experienced in watching 3-4 kids at a time, and fine with it . I make it look easy , their mom says .. I enjoy interacting with kids. I'm a singer and a drama student . I was Annie in the sixth grade play, Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music , in Acapella Choir . I'm a single mom to a wonderful son who has been singing for 10 years , we sing together, hang with our puppy , and I'm proud of him . We love sports, all kinds . I'm also certified by the state to work in home daycare . In the summer of 2014 I watched 8-14 kids alone filling in for owners vacations , the older kids helped out . I had 4 in diapers, 6 toddlers , and couple school age kids . I fed them , cleaned up from them , read to them, did arts and crafts . I grew from that, however I prefer being a private nanny . I've also nannies for my friends 2 year old, he's 3 now . Going to the park picking leaves , pinecones and making a paper bag collage was very fun . When I'm a nanny , we never watch tv . Exceptions are weekends , movies, popcorn, how I raised my son . I would love to find a nanny position at least 3-4 Days a week . I'm looking for something now, as my family is now teens , I enjoy toddlers a lot . I have two nieces I watched since toddlers off and on , they are 7 and 12 now . We are close . We color, cook, sing together , and hang at park and pool . If your looking for a stellar nanny with impressive references , I promise to keep your children , happy, healthy, and safe . I'm looking for at least 24-30 hours . My weekends are with my son and pup , and I go to church on Sundays. I do with notice help out and sit at night overnight to watch kids if their mom has a business trip. I do not smoke, Against , Clean background check with the State .
