Sitter in Apple Valley, California

Hello my name is Megan. I am 29 years old and I live in Apple Valley. I have worked with children for over ten years. My experience includes after-school programs, in-home daycare assistance and pre-school teacher. My most-recent experience was running my own in-home daycare for 5 years. I cared for over 30 children in that time span and I loved every single day of my job. Unfortunately I had to close down due to relocating to a new home. I decided I would rather find work outside of my home and still work with children because I feel I am exceptionally good at it. I did manage to acquire an abundance of arts, crafts, games, books etc. So I would still love to use those in my future job. I obtained my associates degree in liberal arts and also attended Cal State San Bernardino where I began to pursue a degree in Child-Development. So along with my actual work experience I have many units in childhood education. I am active and enjoy being outside. I believe it is more fun to simply play tag, play board games, draw, read etc rather than sit in front of a t.v all day. I believe children feel the same way if they are presented with opportunities and activities other than being sat in front of a video game or t.v all day. I have recently updated my CPR and First Aid and I also have reliable transportation. As an added bonus I love to clean! Overall I feel I would be a good match for any family with any age child/ children.
