Sitter in Saratoga Springs, New York

I am a rising senior at Skidmore majoring in Sociology and looking to continue my education to achieve an MSW (Masters in Social Work). I love kids and have about 11 years of experience working with them, from newborns to preteens. My experience ranges from babysitting a couple of children in a home to supervising a large group in a camp-like setting. I enjoy everything that comes with taking care of children - even changing diapers! I am also very fun and entertaining with interesting games to play and silly voices to use (for those who like silly voices). I am also CPR/First Aid certified through the Red Cross Association. Overall, I'm a great person if you just need someone to babysit your child(ren) and keep them entertained (and safe) at the same time. Furthermore, I am a very responsible person and very hard-working as well. I became a student supervisor in the dining hall within the first year of working on campus, but I am not a restaurant person but a people person. My heart lies in actually taking care of people, not simply serving them. I also interned Summer 2013 at a neighborhood program for children and their low-income families back home. This summer I will be researching with a professor of mine on race and unemployment and will be the reseatch assistant of another professor during the schoolyear. So, as you can see I am very responsible and look for diferent opportunities to serve others in different ways. So, if you hire me, it's a win-win.
