My name is Micki-Lee Smith and I am a music student at UBC. I am interested in a summer job close to UBC. I love children, and have been babysitting and teaching music lessons for several years. I love to cook, and was often required to make nutritious snacks and meals for the children I was responsible for. I also enjoy planning outdoor activities, crafts, and games for young children. I have also volunteered to work with students from grades K-6 for Edmonton public schools. I am passionate about teaching music and have taught violin, piano, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele. I worked at Planet Music for two years, and have also taught music lessons privately. I have also preformed at various seniors centres, fundraisers, and community events.
