Sitter in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! My name is Carol. I have just graduated from UBC and moved back home to Calgary. I am about to start my journey as teacher, starting as a substitute, but as this job is on an on-call basis, I am looking for something more stable on the side! Because I need to be available to sub, I am looking for work in the evenings on weekdays (starting around 4:30-5pm) and anytime on weekends. I love working with children and have tons of experience working with children of all ages! I've worked in daycares, summer camps, as a private aid for a child with autism, and of course, in classrooms! I am very energetic, fun and outgoing, but I also understand the help parents need in attending to their kiddos! I have a valid drivers license, first aid and CPR training and teachers certificate ( i.e. I can help with any school work, reading activities and am very creative in thinking of fun ways to play!). I am able to help with cleaning, light meal prep, changing and feeding! I understand the value of having quality child care as these early years are so important!
