Hi there! My name is Mikaela and I am 23 years old. I am currently completing my Masters in Applied Disabilities Studies at Brock University, and working as a Before and After School Child Care Supervisor for the YMCA. I have 6 years of camp experience, combined with 4 years of child care experience. This experience will allow me to engage with your child in a very special way. My back pocket is filled with fun and engaging science projects, art activities, sensory experiences, physical games, and team building exercises, all that will allow your child to learn and explore without even realizing the educational background of our activities. I love allowing children to expand their minds through offering activities that are based off of their interests. Physical literacy is also extremely important to me. I would love to be able to help your child or children grow! I have also worked for Autism Ontario, and volunteered with the Learning Disabilities Assosication of Niagara, as well as Brock's Special Needs Activity program. Half of my camp experience has been closely entwined with inclusion.
