ABOUT ME I am a home daycare (also known as family daycare or in-home daycare) located in Triangle, VA in Northern Virginia (DMV Area). I operate under a small license capacity (no more than 6 children), in order to give more one-on-one attention to the children in my care. I am CPR & First Aid Certified and had SIDS training. I specialize in childcare for children ages one month to four years old. I also in the summer-time provide childcare for school-age children (FCFS Basis-Limited Space). My goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home, where they can feel safe and happy and can begin to build confidence and a positive self-image. I have three wonderful children, all school-age except my baby girl. I have fifteen years of experience working as a nanny, preschool teacher, and childcare provider. MY PHILOSOPHY I believe that the first years of a child's life is by far the most important, helping to lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development to follow. Through nurturing and individualized attention, I take great care to provide a warm, friendly, and fun environment for your child, while ensuring they receive the guidance and structure they need. I strive to nurture your child's ideas and imagination, acknowledge each child's individuality, and validate each personality. My goal is to provide a place where children know that they are accepted, loved, protected, and wanted; helping to instill in each child a strong sense of self-worth and purpose. My job is to make sure that each child has numerous positive experiences and interactions throughout each day. It is my hope that when the day is done, and children go home, they feel happy and proud of themselves; eager to express the happenings of their day to you. MY GOAL My goal is to make learning for all ages fun and non-intimidating, by encouraging laughter and provoking smiles, ensuring that each child in our care feels safe, loved, and happy. For the various age groups of children in my care, we offer developmentally appropriate activities, designed to help the whole child grow and develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. My goal is to give each child in our care a solid and well-rounded skill base to help prepare them for a strong beginning in school. I strive to foster creativity and to instill joy in learning; to provide a place where children are encouraged to play and challenged to learn. I feel that both you and your child will be as enthusiastic as I am about my program. DAYCARE HOURS The daycare is open Monday through Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm with some holiday exceptions. In addition, I offer evenings, weekend, and overnight availability with advanced notice for our current parents as a bonus. As a parent, myself, I know outside of work you need some time for yourself! SERVICES Full Time Childcare: Monday through Friday anytime between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm Part Time Childcare: Limited days of the week anytime between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm Half Day Childcare: (7:30am - 12:30pm) or (12:30pm - 5:30pm) Infant/Young Toddler: 0 to 24 months old Older Toddler/Preschooler: 2, 3, and 4 years old AGE GROUPS 1 month - 4 years old PRICES My rates are highly reasonable for my quality services.
