Hello, my name is Angelina Gomez and I recently opened a new Childcare Center in the local Astoria area in area code 11106, The Early Scholars Education Program. This program operates on the notion that children grow and learn most efficiency with consistent hands on exploration and experiences. My program promotes young children to make their own decisions and seek discoveries from a nurturing and positively stimulating atmosphere. While cultivating each child’s unique personality, I also strive and take pride in preparing and guiding their social growth based on an invigorating group setting. Children are also prepared for early academics as they grow towards their school aged years. Recognizing that no two children are on the same developmental path, this program adjusts purposeful education that incorporates flexible learning and care to foster each child’s individual needs and interests. More than just a daycare, I offer young children the opportunity to become a part of a loving, healthy, and safe community to help them flourish and reach their true potential. Please Contact me for a tour/interview at 347-8... or [email protected] Services offered: • Flexible and affordable tuition rates and hours (please inquire within) • 3 Daily Nutritious snacks • Weekly Lesson planning to promote early academics tailored to your child's current age and developmental stage • Emergency/Drop off Back up care • Outdoor exploration • Daily reports/documentations of your child's developmental progress via email and paper (including photos and live video ) Qualifications: • Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (birth-2 years) • Trained in (adult and pediatric)CPR, First Aid, AED (manual and automatic) and fire extinguisher usage. • M.A.T (Medication Administration Training) to administer over the counter and prescribed medications. • Qualified to diagnose and victims and treat airway obstructions, external bleeding and shock, broken bones, burns, hygiene/ sanitation and evaluate hazardous symptoms by establishing basic medical treatments for adults, young children and infants. Also trained to perform Heimlich maneuver • SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and Shaken Baby Syndrome awareness training. • Blood Borne Pathogen and Infectious Control Disease Trainings • Mandated Child Abuse Reporter • 7 Years of experience working with children of all ages including twins and children with disabilities and special needs. • Mother of 2 boys; 8 year old and 1 year old
