Hi! My name is Sarah, I am 20 years old and I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin seeking a Health care administration degree. I have been an active nanny for about 3 years now. My journey as a nanny began when my friend kindly asked me to cover one of her days she had with the current child she was caring for at the time. After doing her that favor and a couple more times after that, I was asked by the family if I can be their permanent nanny. I learned from that experience that I had a natural ability to connect with children and not only as a caregiver, but also as a positive role model. I have cared for about 5 families now in the Chicago area, and in Wisconsin where I attend school. Age ranges of children I have cared for went from as young as 2 to as old as 13. Many common activities I would do with the children included arts & crafts, homework help, singing & dancing, star wars battles, you name it! I was able to handle pick ups & drop offs as I have my own car and love taking children places. I enjoy tidying up and keeping things organized as well as cooking meals so you may use that to your advantage.
