I have been a homemaker for many years. I have also raised a child with Arthrogryposis, who is the light of my life. It required compassion, patience, humility, faith and it required me to learn to forgive the ignorance of people who fear, reject, humiliate the things that are unknown to them. children as well as adults. It required some training in physical therapy and ambulatory care, as well as mental and emotional uplifting of patients as they go through humiliation, criticism, and depression that is part of their life experiences. Some due to ignorant people and also just the depression of not being independent and knowing that they may never be independent. My work history is almost nil because of always being a homemaker, but some could say that my life experiences might qualify me to be a very caring and qualified caregiver. Thank you for your time!
