Hello! My name is Hannah! I I'll be moving to boise close to August. And I'm looking for a job ahead of time! I'm looking for a job in child care. I've been a full time nanny for 3.5 years, been babysitting for 4. I have experience with children from ages newborn-11. Although kids under 9 are what i prefer. I have great references! I've been with the same families for 3 years, And we have grown very close. So its going to be very hard leaving, but my life is taking me somewhere new. Currently I run from home, but I'm also comfortable in others homes. I have a handful right now. I watch 5 kids from 3 different families. And yes, its amazing! I have Gustavo (7),MaryLuz(6), Autumn(4) and Jackson (3), And Marshall(15months). I've had Autumn, Marshall and Jackson since they were newborns. And Maryluz and Gustavo I've had for 3 years! It started with Autumn, I was a live in nanny and moved in 5 days after she was born. When she was just under a year, I moved back out to do school, but still had her most days while her parents were at work. I started running a little "daycare" from home with the help of my mom who was a preschool teacher for 10 years. Together we took on a few more kids because word got around about how much I loved children. I have taken care of children with special needs(autism, Downs syndrome, Aspergers, epilepsy). And my older brother has Aspergers. So I've been around it my whole life. I am strict when it comes to homework. I am very big on learning and getting school work DONE! Jackson is 3 years old, he knows his alphabet, numbers to 20, how to spell and write his name, and he's learning to read. Most brain growth happens by age 3, so its important to me to read to kids and help them learn their skills. When it comes to school work, the other kids sit at the table when they get off the bus, I'll give them a snack, and they have to finish their daily homework from the packets they get at school, before they get to play. I only allow a little bit of TV/Tablet time during the day, Because kids need to use their imaginations. Most days I'm either Iron man or Cinderella. (I can use my imagination too! Haha!) Children are my passion. I love watching them grow, change and learn. I do love all the kids that I watch very much. My 5 year goal is to open my own daycare center!
