I read to the children, take them on walks, to the library for story hour, to museums and the zoo, get down on the floor and play with them, sing to them, do crafts and easy baking (dependent on the age of the child or children). With non-verbal children I use Sign Language which is helpful in alleviating the frustration of not yet being able to voice their needs or wants. I am also fluent in French and speak moderate Japanese and basic Hebrew. I enjoy classical music and being outdoors, weather permitting. I have taught swimming to toddlers, been a camp counselor, preschool teacher, Montessori teacher, and a nanny for the last twenty-four years.
