Sitter Job in Wexford, Pennsylvania

The Baierl Family YMCA is looking for teachers to work in our YMCA school age programs. We are looking to fill slots in 2 locations. Monday through Friday from 7am-9am and 3pm-6pm at the Baierl Family YMCA location. You will be assisting the Site Director in activities and lesson. Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm at Marshall Elementary School. You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of curriculum within the program. Responsibilities: Interacting with children, implementing curriculum, helping with snack, helping with paperwork (newsletters, snack calendars, attendance,etc...), attend trainings, must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and any other jobs given to you by the director, independently. Qualifications: at minimum, have an associates degree in education, psychology, sociology, human services, child development, etc. with at least 1 year experience working with children (coaching, babysitting, etc); a bachelors degree in education or a human service field preferred.
