Sitter in San Francisco, California

Hello! I am a 24 year old female student at UCB, getting my BA in sociology. I will be graduating in December. I live in San Francisco and am available any time now through August 23. Once school starts, I am available three week days (to be decided upon soon and weekends). I have been babysitting for ten years and adore kids! I have babysat children, from infants through age 14. I can supervise, play with, read to (or encourage reading), help with homework, create fun games for, go on outdoor adventures with, play sports with, cook for, drive to activities, and do whatever else your kid/s need to have fun and feel safe, supported, and cared for. I have a reliable car, clean driving record, and am always on time and ready to go. A few years ago, I took a course in NVC (non-violent communication) and I practice healthy methods of communication. I am certified in CPR and First Aid for infants and children. I charge $20-30 per hour Depending on the # of children, their ages, and the location (how often and how far will I be driving?) the rate will vary. I aim to create a healthy working relationship with the family I sit for, with the opportunity to be more of a family friend than an employee. I believe it is very important for the sitter, children, and parents to feel equally comfortable with each other, so I always like to meet with families to see if we are compatible before actually babysitting.
