Hey parents! I am a 4th year student at Cal State San Marcos. I am a Psychology major. I work "part time" (basically full time) at the San Diego Ice Arena in Mira Mesa. I have worked at the ice arena for 4 years now. I have run the summer camp program at the rink for 2 years and was a "skate hero" (camp counselor) for my first 2 years. I am great with kids and very comfortable with teaching, developing, and explaining right from wrong with children. I have always been the go-to person in my family to watch the young ones and it is my profession to make kids smile on a daily basis! I am first aid certified as well. I am not trained to work with children with disabilities however I have plenty of experience with working with autistic children. I would prefer to care for children four years and older, bathroom-trained, and who are well behaved. I am willing to host and/or watch your kids at your house. I have one cat (who sheds a decent amount) and I also care for my 68 year old father (who is also awesome with kids!). I do have a busy schedule so I need notice at least the Thursday the week before. I am always available on Thursdays and Saturdays. Any other day I am available after 6:00PM (perfect for date night).
