Someone’s Hero. Looking rough and dusty. Knowing I was somewhere I didn’t want to be in. Fighting each other for body heat.When I look down to my wallet, saw nothing but my old recipients and old movie tickets from five weeks earlier. Thinking, why did I have to be poor because of my parents mistakes. My step mom and I from that day, would feed the homeless because of things we’ve experienced ourselves. My step mom and I would do other community services’ including walk for awareness, cleaned up the church when janitor is sick, helped elders walk and feed them. After my step mom died I started doing a lot more volunteer work. When this was happening i figured out that people won’t go above and beyond for me unlike I would. In my future, I want to be the best person I can be, I want to be someone’s hero.One who will go that extra miles for someone. Someone that change ones life for the better..... Nov. 9. 2014 at 4pm, I was making this woman and her daughter their sandwich. The mother and I were talking about how her daughter is very obedient. By the end of the conversation I knew what their family is already like, and it reminded me of all those times that I had no money for food but I couldn't’ eat. I payed for the sandwich myself like a blue ((T.C)) `When the daughter saw that her mom didn’t pay. Instead I paid, she looked at me with those nice smooth sweet eyes of hers and told me ‘ Thank you so much for not letting my mom pay’ in the middle of the sentence she started to tear up, right at that moment. I knew I had done something for the better of someone else. I once again achieved one of my goals in order to get to where I want to be in life. This memory will always be in my mind because it helped me figure out that life isn’t as easy as everyone says it does, some people just need breaks once in a while. That little girl once showed me that life isn’t about what you want it’s about what you will do to get there and be successful. However, the one person that has my back and will walk through fire for anyone is my professor Mrs. Kim Goode she impacts my life to strive for better in my future. She reminds me everyday that if I work that extra mile every day for everything then I can achieve every goal I want too. Goode, gets me moving, pushing towards more volunteer work. Since i’ve been with her I’ve participated in six new things this year and have been well known for those also. She has influenced me as a person by her different points of view of life and her collective thoughts towards things. And, me taking after her I WILL BECOME who I want to be in life. I, Breanne Bullock take this oath till death that I will do everything in my power to become the person I’ve always wanted to be. To become a leader for our fellow students and presidents. To become that one person people can call at all hours of the night if needed. Just by that pale polka-dotted face and soft sweet hazelnut eyed girl tearing up, I knew as a person I could never fall and not get back up, I knew that I could do anything I set my mind too that if will do anything to keep my life on track I will achieve every goal on my list.
