A little about me: I am a stay at home mom, my husband and I decided it was best for me to stay at home with our daughter when we had her. I have enjoyed being at home with my children for the past 2 years! But now that my daughter is turning two I think it is time to socialize her. I have two step sons that are 13, a 4 year old son and a daughter that will be turning 2. I have tons of experience. While I was working in a day care I cared for 6 infants at a time. Then I switched to pre-k. I do have my cpr and first aid and my husband is also certified. . What I am looking to do: I am not looking to make tons of money babysitting out of my home. And let our children develop social skills,etc . I have worked at a local day care in Newark and know what I need to provide and offer to make everyone happy. I really enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. About my home: Our house is very kid friendly. We do have a family pet; she is a medium size dog. Very loveable and wonderful with children, we have 4! Our children love to play outside and we typically spend a lot of our time outdoors. I have a nice sized yard (will be completely fenced in a couple weeks) we have a swing set, play house, water table and other outside toys. In the hot weather I do have two pools we use a baby pool and a toddler pool. What I provide: My number one priority is that the children are having fun! Once you figure out how to entertain a child I think that's when you can teach them the most. Tricking them into learning. We will work on the basics daily (ABC's, Numbers, Colors, Shapes, etc) if your child is older we would adjust to what you feel they can improve on. I know my son is 4 years old and we are working on tying his shoes. I am very comfortable caring for multiply children. But I am not going to take on too much I cannot handle.
