*Childcare In My Home* (Hewitt) Hello! I am in the process of going through all the necessary steps to open my own home daycare. In the meantime, I am offering my childcare services starting Monday August 22nd... A little about myself and my background. I am from Waco, born and raised. We live in a nice neighborhood right by Hewitt Elementary. I have 4 children. 3 girls and 1 boy. Ages 11,9,and 5 years(all girls) and my 13mth old baby boy! My girls will be in school all day so I would just have my baby boy at home with me, until about 4pm. I have over 10years childcare experience working in a licensed daycare center as well as experience from raising my own children. I also took child development courses at MCC and obtained my CDA. I am first aid and CPR certified. I have taken training classes on child development, SIDS, as well as many others. I made the decision about 4 months ago to leave the childcare center I worked at so that I could be home. Working in a daycare for as long as I did made me realize I could not easily trust putting my children in one if I was not there. I saw and witnessed way more than I would of ever wanted to. This is another reason I chose to leave. I know first hand how hard of a decision it is to find quality childcare for your children and be able to fully trust someone. After all if you feel anything like I feel, then I know your children mean the world to you! I am offering a place where you can be 100 % comfortable and confident knowing you can go to work and not have to worry about your child. I will provide you with my personal cell number and you can call, or text anytime of the day to check on him or her! Your also more than welcome to pick them up any time of the day without giving me notice that your coming. I want you to feel confident knowing you can come and go at anytime! Now a little about what I will be offering. I will provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack for your child. Water, juice, and milk will be provided as well. I have plenty of toys, books, crafts, etc.. to keep any child from birth to 10yrs old entertained!! We will dance, play outside, paint, etc... I have so many ideas and activities that I acquired from my many years at the day care center and school! There will be nap time of course, but I will go off of whatever schedule you have at home for your child. I know if they are like my son, he doesn't have a set schedule and sleeps when he wants to! I will follow whatever you tell me to, that way it's easier on everyone! I will also be buying more supplies and equipment a little at a time so that I eventually have my "home center". The only thing you need to provide is formula, baby food, and diapers and wipes. I will have everything else covered! Due to the fact I have children I will need to take to school, my hours will be as followed: Monday thru Friday 7:30am until 5:30pm. Now exceptions can be made. If you are fine with your child riding with me while I take mine to school, you can bring he or she as early as 630am. I will just need you to bring a car seat as I do not have extra. Tuition Prices: Full week (5 days) $100 Part time (3 days) $75 Drop In Care $30 a day Tuition will be due for the week on the day your child starts. You can pay for the week, every 2 weeks, or the full month whatever you chose to do. There is no enrollment or registration fee's, just the tuition. I think I have covered everything, but it's possible I have left something out lol and I apologize!
