Hello! We are seeking a part time nanny, approximately 25 hours/week, at our home in Eden Prairie. We're looking for someone who can commit for at least one year. We live close to Minnetonka and Chanhassen, near CR62. We have a girl who is 3 and a boy who is 7 months. Both kids are very fun, mellow, polite and well-behaved. We are seeking someone who has a flexible schedule because we will need care 2.5 days per week but the days will likely change every few months due to our schedules. Right now the hours would be (can be somewhat flexible): Mondays 8-5:30/6 OR 7:00-4:3... Tuesdays 8-5:30/6 or 7:00-4:3... Wednesdays 7 or 8 to 12-1 We will offer $10-$12 an hour based on prior experience and qualifications. We will also offer 10 PTO days/year, 5 that the nanny chooses and 5 that the family chooses (for when we are on vacation, etc.) We will also pay holidays if they fall on your normal work schedule. We will consider allowing our nanny to bring their own child to our house while working if the child fits well with our family and is at least 12 months. Major Responsibilities • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children • Supervise the children's activities at all times • Plan, prepare and feed meals/snacks and bottles to the children • Plan and lead educational activities and lesson plans, including reading, with the children • Dress the children appropriately for daily activity and weather conditions • Place the children down for naps • Change diapers • Perform housework related to child care including the washing and putting away children's laundry, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, washing bottles and keeping bedrooms tidy and organized. • Teaching and enforcing good social manners and behaviors • Play with the children both indoors and outdoors • Discipline the children appropriately and when necessary • Administer medicine to the children as directed • Bathe children if needed because of accident or spill. Routine bathing will not be required. • Potty training if applicable as infant gets older • Other duties as assigned or agreed upon at a later date.
