2 Alta's Learning Center is a 3 star licensed family child care home located off of hwy 70 east 11 miles from Kinston, NC and 8 miles from Goldsboro, NC. Our program capacity is 8 children and this allows a smaller environment compared to a larger facility. The advantages of a smaller facility are that it is a home away from home environment, a closer connection between student and teacher and a smaller chance of your child getting sick. We strive to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home, where they can feel safe and happy and can begin to build confidence and a positive self image. Our home is designed to provide both a nurturing home atmosphere along with large dedicated areas for the children to actively learn and play in; a stimulating environment with spacious rooms rich in color giving each child an exciting world full of opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. We have a large fully fenced, child friendly backyard, equipped with fun and safe playing equipment. We provide well balanced nutritious meals and snacks to your child. For children of all ages we incorporate lots of fun activities into their daily schedule that include arts and crafts, free-play, structured-play, music, song and dance, painting, coloring, various creative and educational projects, and much more. Additionally, for children ages two and three, we offer an age appropriate preschool curriculum. Because of these points, we feel we are able to provide the best of both worlds (learning and fun, all in one). Our family daycare meets all the requirements established by the State of North Carolina Licensing.
