Hi there! My name is Randy, I am 22 years old and planning to attend GCC and eventually transferring to ASU. I plan to major in Fire Science and a minor in education/Teaching. My plan is to become a firefighter through school and through becoming EMT certified. After that I would like to go into teaching and help educate, nurture, and positively push the future. I love working with children. I was a volunteer teacher assistant for first graders and was a Master Water Instructor for the swim school called Aqua Tots. I taught kids of all ages to swim. For newborns and infants, I help them adjust to new environment, getting them to know what water is like. For toddlers and young children I help them hold their breaths and understand what water is and how to interact. For the older children, I taught them how to properly engage the water by swimming all four different strokes of swimming. I am a High-Spirited, headstrong, and fun-loving individual and some of my favorite hobbies are to play my guitar and sing. It is without a doubt that I want to work with kids in the future, and I think baby-sitting would be small but an incredibly vital step into shaping this future of mine.
