Sitter in Langford, British Columbia

Hello, I just moved back home to Victoria from Calgary and am available for community support. My girlfriend I are open to a supportive roommate situation with the right client, though are not actively looking at this time. I am fairly active, walking most days and trying to get to the gym at least a few days a week. I used to volunteer with Malahat Fire Rescue and worked as a Technical Rescue Team (confined space, high angle and ice) lead in Alberta. I also have experience rock climbing and am trained to belay. Previously I worked as a Lifeguard lead (Team Leader) at Commonwealth Pool, as well as lifeguarding there for 5 years. I quite enjoy outings to recreation centers and other public areas and have experience dealing with behavioral concerns in those settings in a variety of roles. In the past I've worked with clients with ASD on varying levels of the spectrum from fully non-verbal/interactive to the other end of the spectrum. I've also worked with clients with ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder among others, both in children and adults. I do have some mobility issues from a lower back injury so can't do any lifting or assisted bathing. It also limits how long I am able to do outings and the types of outings I can do.
