Let me tell you a little bit about myself… My name is Adrianne and I am the mother, aunt, sister, and cousin of several wonderful children. I have over 22 years of childcare experience, starting when I took a Red Cross Babysitting Certification course at the age of 11 (I’m in my mid 30s now) and immediately began caring for various family members’ and friends’ children. Then, I worked as a full-time nanny/housekeeper for one family for 4 years as a teenager. I also studied Early Child Development in college and was a preschool teacher for a few years, but I am now a stay at home mom with 2 children of my own. Why choose me? Because I don't just “babysit” your little one(s)! I provide a loving and nurturing environment in my home, where your child(ren) will be able to play and learn and feel just as comfortable as they would in their own house. I'll do my best to adhere to any schedules you may have already established, including feeding and nap times. You can send along their favorite foods and/or snacks, or if you prefer, meals can be provided. Any dietary restrictions for health, religious, or personal reasons will always be followed, of course. Your child(ren) won’t be bored, as their days will be filled with fun and educational indoor and outdoor activities, including trips to local parks and libraries (with your permission). I’m very creative and never at a loss for resources so learning will be fun! If your child is preschool age we will focus on skills that will help prepare them to enter kindergarten and for older children, I am willing to help with homework as needed. Does your child have events to attend, such as dance classes, karate, or even doctor’s appointments? No problem! I can take them to appointments, as needed. My rates are very affordable, and I am willing to negotiate a competitive price. I also have a flexible schedule to suit your needs. All ages from 6 weeks to early teens are accepted.
