Sitter Job in Brooklyn, New York

HOURS Monday-Thursday, 5:30PM-6:30PM* *Looking for someone with flexible schedule who can, with advance notice, stay later when parents have to work late/occasional date nights. JOB DESCRIPTION We have 2 girls, a 17 month old and a 3.5 year old. The oldest will be starting Pre-K in the fall and we can not make it home in time from work to pick up both children from 2 locations. This is where you come in! 5:30PM – Pick up 17 month old at Preschool of America on Baltic (Between Smith and Hoyt) 5:45PM (no later than 6PM) – Pick up 3.5 year old at PS 32 on Hoyt (Between Union and President) Bring children home to Carroll Street (Between Hoyt and Bond). Play and begin dinner until parent arrives at 6:30PM. Ideally looking for someone who can be flexible to work additional hours with advance notice (if parent have to work late, date nights, etc.) Job Requires: Punctuality and consistency– on time pick up for both children is a must Communication – able to communicate with teachers at the school and relay any necessary messages to parents Light meal preparation – making sippy cups, cutting up food, heating food, etc Clean up after children – put away any toys used, clean up related to children’s meals Pet - Please note, we have a dog, Max. He is very friendly medium size dog. We would ask you give the dog his food and let him out into the backyard. Play/learning – someone who loves to play and have fun, read books, create art, etc.
