Our babysitter of 5 years, Liz, will be leaving us in May and is looking to find work with a family-- ideally in the BoCoCa (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens) area. Liz has seen my two daughters through from the middle of elementary school and on to high school. Over the years that Liz has been with us I have found her to be utterly reliable - she has never let us down once. She has also been incredibly flexible -- as my job can involve late nights and some changes of days, this has been invaluable. In addition to after-school babysitting, Liz has also taken on caring for my kids during school vacation time and overnight. Liz has a calm, unflappable personality and she creates a positive atmosphere for my kids to get on with homework and enjoy coming home from school. She is a great cook too and often prepares meals for my daughters/and the whole family. In addition, Liz is also v tidy -- it makes life a lot more sane to come home to relaxed kids and an ordered apartment!
