I LOVE children and do not expect to ever be a grandmother, but have been "adopted" by several children who call me Grandma! :) It warms my heart and soul to have children around and to care for them. I miss the days when my own children needed me! I have so much love to give and would be honored to care for YOUR young ones! My father had brain cancer, and my 30 year old son has a traumatic brain injury (TBI), which affected both of their personalities, so I am experienced in managing anyone suffering from personality disorders. I know how to turn a seemingly negative situation into a positive one! I truly love taking care of children and miss having young ones around. Being an "Empty Nester" is not all it's cracked up to be. Your children/child would have help with homework (I have been a tutor), learn fun and educational games, and eat "disguised" healthy meals and snacks that even the pickiest of eaters love. I never had a problem sneaking vegetables into my children's meals...they never had a clue until they got older! My sons and daughter would confirm I am very creative in many areas. :) I can be available as a live-out nanny, in your home or mine, Monday-Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also, occasional weeknights, and Friday & Saturday "date nights" would be acceptable!
